How long does it take to build my website?
Most sites are delivered in 1-3 weeks from kickoff to launch. Starter sites (5-7 pages) typically launch in 1-2 weeks. Growth sites (10-15 pages) run 2-3 weeks. Complete sites (20+ pages, multi-location) can take 3-4 weeks depending on complexity.
The timeline depends more on how quickly you can provide content and photos than on our build capacity. If everything is ready at kickoff, we move fast.
Do I really own the website when we're done?
Yes - fully. You own the domain, the WordPress site, all custom code, and all content. If you decide to move to a different hosting provider or work with a different agency later, you can. Nothing is locked to us.
Compare this to Wix, Squarespace, ProSites, and similar - where the site technically belongs to them and disappears if you stop paying.
What's the difference between the one-time build fee and monthly hosting?
The one-time build fee ($999-$3,499) covers designing and building your site. You pay this once. The site is yours forever.
Monthly hosting ($59/month) is optional. It covers keeping the site online (server space, backups, security updates). You can use our hosting or bring your own - many small businesses use SiteGround, WPEngine, or Bluehost for $15-$40/month directly. Your choice.
Can I edit my own website after it's built?
Yes. Every site is built on WordPress with the Elementor page builder - designed specifically so non-technical business owners can edit content themselves. Change text, swap images, add blog posts, update service pages - all doable in a visual editor.
We include a personalized video walkthrough after launch showing exactly how to edit your site. If you'd rather have us handle updates, we charge $85/hour with no minimum retainer.
Will my new site help me rank on Google?
Yes - SEO is built into every site from day one. That includes technical SEO fundamentals (site speed, mobile responsiveness, proper heading structure), on-page SEO (meta titles/descriptions, image alt text), schema markup for Google + AI search results, and Google Business Profile setup.
For competitive markets where you need ongoing ranking work, we offer optional monthly SEO retainers starting at $500/month. But the site foundation gives you a real ranking chance out of the box.
What if I need changes after the site launches?
Every tier includes a support period (30 days for Starter, 60 days for Growth, 90 days for Complete). During this window, we fix bugs and make small changes at no extra cost.
After that, you have three options: (1) edit content yourself in WordPress - it's designed for that, (2) hire us at $85/hour hourly, or (3) get a monthly retainer for ongoing updates. Most small business owners handle basic changes themselves and only call us for bigger updates.
Do you build e-commerce sites?
Yes - we build WooCommerce sites for small businesses selling products online. E-commerce sites are typically Complete tier ($3,499+) because they involve more setup (products, shipping, payment gateway, inventory).
For businesses with 500+ products or complex catalogs, we'll be upfront that Shopify is often a better fit than WooCommerce and refer you appropriately.
What if I already have a website and want to migrate?
Content migration from existing sites (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, ProSites, WordPress on another platform) is included in Growth and Complete tiers. We preserve your existing text, images, service descriptions, and blog posts.
For Starter tier migrations, we quote hourly (usually adds $200-$500 depending on complexity). During the discovery call we'll assess what needs to move and give you a fixed number.
Can I see examples of your work?
Portfolio examples are available on request during the discovery call - we prefer to walk you through them in context rather than post them as a public grid. That way we can show sites in your industry or price range specifically.

What if I'm outside of Florida - can you still build my site?
Yes. We're Florida-based (Brooksville, in the Tampa Bay area) and specialize in Florida small business SEO, but the actual web design and development work happens remotely. We've built sites for businesses across the US.
Florida SEO expertise is a major advantage if you're in Florida - we understand snowbird economies, hurricane seasonality, insurance markets, and other regional factors. For out-of-state businesses, you get the same custom build quality without the Florida-specific SEO angle.
